Overview
The LFP Annual Meeting will be held from Wednesday, October 15th to Friday, October 17th, 2008 at Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center in Scottsdale, AZ.
The Annual Meeting offers current
grantees and their funding partners
an opportunity to share their stories and
to learn new strategies for success. A Preliminary
Agenda is posted for your information
as well as answers to Frequently
Asked Questions about the meeting.
All
invitations for the 2008 Annual Meeting
have already been issued.
invitations contain the instructions for
on-line registration. Don't
forget to reserve your hotel room and
complete your meeting registration. Anyone
who is unable to complete the on-line registration
please call the LFP office at (609) 275-4128.
 This year we are trying a new format for our meeting attendee list and are asking all meeting attendees to e-mail his/her photo to the LFP office by August 28, 2008. The photos will be cut to about 1” by 1.5”, so please send either full face shots or ones where our office can easily crop the face to these dimensions. These pictures are only intended for the meeting book, not for any other publication and not for internet use. E-mail them to RWJFLocalFundingPartnerships@njha.com by September 4, 2008, but sooner if you can. Thank you!

Workshop
Registration

to register. You will be asked to choose
a Thursday workshop and a Friday workshop.

Who
Attends
LFP grant funds cover travel for two individuals,
usually the project director and a staff
member. If you feel the need to bring a
third person, such as a coalition member
or other community partner, please call
the LFP office to see if we can accommodate
this request. You must identify the resources
to pay the costs for a third representative.

Information
for Graduating Projects
If your grant was originally scheduled to
close before our next Annual Meeting in 2009,
it is your turn to be honored as a Graduating
Grantee. Our small group breakout
sessions for the graduate presentations will
be on Thursday morning, 10/16/2008.
One staff member from each graduating project will tell a project story and speak briefly on your "lessons learned." Each project will also have a one-page project summary distributed at the meeting.Click below for more information.
